Keni is my very first own dog. I had to wait for ten long years before I had the permission of getting a dog from my parents. At firs I was going to get a Belgian Shepherd Groenendael. But then the summer ended and I had to wait until next summer to get a dog. Somehow I foud hte Australian Shepherd race while I was wairing for summer to come. So the next spring I started to look for en aussie breeder and puppies and I found Bywater kennel.

The puppies were born at 18.2 and I fell in love with them. I went to see the puppies a little bit later. I was looking for a red female but Keni was the one I liked the most and he liked me too. After the puppy test I was sure that this little red male was the on I wanted.

I went to fetch Keni home with my father first of may. At that time Keni was already 10 week old. Keni slept most of the way home. We actually had to wake him few times just so he could get out and do his business. When we were at home Keni got to see his new family. Ilpo my cat wasn´t really happy to see the puppy. Keni was just curious who or what that might be. Keni was very calm for a puppy. If nobody played with him he would sleep most of the time. Keni only destroyed few cables and tasted wallpaper when he was young. Keni is quiet an easy dog and for that I´m happy. =)

 From the puppy has grown an adult male. Keni isn´t a soft dog so he doesn´t care even if I do some things the wrong way, and that is a good thing. =) The hardest things/tricks to teatch to Keni have been how to behave on a leash and to stay whit me while free. Keni is quiet independent. Even while he was a puppy he didn´t care if he didn´t know where I was. Thankfully he is better now and doesn´t go on his own way as much as before. I should have started to train these thing more at the very first month I owned him. These days Keni is a much better on leash than before. He hardly pulls on leash anymore. Though he still sometimes barks to other dogs.

We have been on puppy course, on few obedience course and on agility course. I really would like to go on another agility course but just now I don´t have the money for that. When we do agility Keni loves the boom but doesn´t like the tunnel. Keni doesn´t seem to like obedience as much as agility. He usually does what I ask him to do but does it slowly and with a look that shows he doesn´t really want to do it. I would like to try track, finding people and finding people from ruin with Keni. Keni knows how to run beside my bike and he has pulled children on sled. He is a wonderful dog. ^_^

Keni really loves children. He doesn´t care even if kids pull his hair or fall over him or takes his bones that he is eating. Keni loves it when kids stroke him. For me Keni is the best dog on the world! <3
